Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as you have the DJI go app downloaded on your iPad, there is no need for GPS on your device. By connecting to the USB port on the controller, the GPS information is displayed on your iPad giving you all the information you would need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need an activated cell phone or service. The controller will fit all the smart phones I've tried with it the only limitation on. Using bigger iPad is the size doesn't fit however there are aftermarket holders that can even hold a full size iPad. You need to put some kind of device on it to access all the menus but the best flying and viewing is with the googles.
