It is aweslme . But may not be the best for a 13 year old.You may try the DJI Spark, that should do it !!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely, because it is so easy to fly. It is almost fool-proof with all it's safety features. Just make sure you watch all the training videos. and read as much as you can, only because they are informative, and shows you things about the drone you probably wouldn't find on your own.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Highly unlikely! Unless really mature for his age and closely watched, this thing will travel as fast as 40 mph, and go as far as 4 miles out and 1,300 hundred feet high, right out of the box..could go easily higher without gps regulations.. again if he is a little more advanced then the rest and at least has some kind of rc experience I would say no
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are better kids drones out there. You could buy 5 and still save money. The new starwars themed battle drones are under 300 and they shoot lasers at eachother for epic digfights and i think you can have like a dozen flying. I would probably have been happier with 2 of those at that age
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, unless you're prepared to see a 1000 dollar piece of equipment break. There's plenty starter models that are cheaper and can prepare him/her for the mavic.
