Yes it' is replaceable - do a search for 'DJI Gimbal Cover'. (Alternatively you can 3D print one yourself). The DJI Gimbal Cover is not scratch/chip resistant. I don't understand your final question - what do you want to know? Certainly if you crash the aircraft, the Gimbal Cover will become damaged. But anyway you are not supposed to fly with the Gimbal Cover on. It is only meant to be used when transporting the aircraft or travelling with it. I hope I've helped with your questions!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The clear guard isn't really meant to be flown. It hinders the air flow to the inside of the mavic. If you want a guard go check eBay or Amazon for mavic accessories, there is a hood you can buy to use instead of the clear one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The clear cover snaps on. I fly mine without the cover. The cover blocks air flow going back through the drone. I believe you would get a glare from the cover using the camera. I bought a separate gimbel protector that doesn't block the air flow.

There are replacement gimble covers available. Flying with this cover on is not recommended as it will have lots of glare.
