It uses a microSD card that you insert on the back side of the drone with a maximum size of 256GB. If you don't insert a card, it will save all the video & photos it captures directly to your phone, but the quality may be lower since it's having to transmit that back & may have interference. It's critical you get a card that is compatible (which really comes down to read/write speeds since the file sizes can get pretty big shooting in 4K). You can get a list of the currently supported cards on DJI's website: https://www.dji.com/mini-2/specs

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it's up to 256 GB, class 10. Check the compatibility list as some SD cards will not work (my Patriot 128 Gb does not).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This takes a micro-SD card, and I am not sure it has a limit. I currently have a 128GB card in mine, but I would think that it could go up to 256GB and 512GB. But the battery alone will not fill up this amount of space. I have shot at 4k and I have not had an issue, and 128GB has been good for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes a microSD UHS-I Speed Class 3 or above. The DJI website includes recommendations up to 256 GB so I assume it would be that but the website does not say.
