• The app, DJI Fly, requires iOS 11.0 or greater. So it's more a matter of the OS version. If your phone doesn't support iOS 11, then no. Not sure which phones can receive which iOS upgrades.

• Yes. It still uses the iPhone lightning port, and you would just need to download the app to use it.
