Dear customer, Thank you for your inquiry. The signal would be impacted by wireless interference and building blockage. The following conditions will affect the signal: 1. If the place where the remote controller is located has strong wireless interference (such as strong Wi-Fi signals), it will affect the remote controller's reception of signals. 2. If the aircraft flies to an area with strong wireless interference, it will affect the aircraft's transmission of signals. 3. When there are obstacles or strong interference sources between the aircraft and the remote controller, the signal reception and transmission will also be abnormal. Best Regards, DJI Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not a top of the line drone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drone uses GPS data and can sometimes auto return home when signal is lost and you can regain control of the drone if it connects again. However, it does not have sensors to prevent it from colliding with objects when returning home on its own. There is a number of things that can cause signal loss. Weather, objects, interference…
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Mini 2 uses two frequencies for both control and video downlink. They are 5.8Ghz and 2.4Ghz. The range is exceptional till solid items get between you and the drone. Buildings, thick forest of trees etc. If you loose signal, try climbing up to re-establish connection. If all fails, the drone will activate RTH and head home. Make sure you ALWAYS set you RTH altitude to fly above any items your near or she may slam into a tree etc.
