• I was wondering the same about Moto z 2 when I bough it, but it works well with latest Android versions does not matter your device, however, we would like to hear the voice of Samsung note 8 owner.

• It is unknown if the Samsung Galaxy S8 note. It is compatible with the S8 phone. It's not compatible with S9. But, if go to Best Buy and they will be happy to help
