Yes, I used the sticker mount it came with to have it mounted onto my dashboard, so that i can film while I'm driving. Be aware that you might want to delete footage every so often, to prevent your storage from being wasted, and also the battery wont last a full day of driving, so if you have a trip planned you should get multiple batteries to swap out when they die
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dear Customer, Osmo Action 4 can be used as a dash cam in a limited way. You can enable the Loop Recording feature and set the recording duration to allow continuous video recording with automatic overwriting of earlier files. Please note that Osmo Action 4 does not provide professional dash cam functions, such as automatically starting recording when the vehicle is powered on or recording vehicle speed and other driving data. If these features are required, a professional dash cam is recommended. When Osmo Action 4 is used as a dash cam, performance may be affected by factors such as battery life and operating temperature, and recording may stop in some situations. To improve stability during use, please follow the recommendations below: First, remove the battery and supply power directly using a USB-C cable. Second, protect the camera from direct sunlight. Third, mount the camera in a well ventilated position and keep it away from heat generating devices inside the vehicle. In addition, wind noise during driving may affect audio recording quality. If audio recording is needed, it is recommended to enable Wind Noise Reduction, or use an external microphone with a windproof sponge cover.
