Depends on the overall weight of the 7 with the battery case attached. If its too heavy, then you wouldn't be able to balance the gimbal. Best way to check is to walk into a best buy with your phone and battery case and try it out on a demo unit. The gimbal does allow for decent sized phones to be used, but it really depends on weight.
