• 300 g was my experience, if it gets much heavier than that it’s struggles to keep it stable. Just ensure that it is balanced on it and takeoff the case if possible as this will lighten the load.

• I have the Samsung 8 plus and the Osmo mobile 2 struggled. Eventually I gave up and returned. But then I miss having it so I bought it again, only to realize yes it does struggle with the larger phone and I returned it again.
