It does work with iOS as well as Android tablets and phones. My brother is using a samsung galaxy tab to control it during flight.

Sir, it is. Matter a fact, the cord that comes in the box is just for you. I love this thing, play with it until you get familiar then put it in sport mode and wow. As for your specific question you would download DJI go 4 app for Android in the App Store instead of the Apple store other than that it’s all very very straight forward ! This model is discontinued since advance and pro are out. I am new so if you are to, don’t think, buy it. Then go to DJI website and get some protection ! ( hint hint hint ) nothing offered at Best Buy.
