What is the range? Like the 4 Pro? null

I have the Phantom 4 now for about a month. I have taken it up to one mile so far. I have to find a good unobstructed area to try to fly further. You cannot see it after a half of mile or a little less. It is kinda scary to fly out that far without seeing it. I am taking it further out more and more. But so far about a mile without the extenders. I live in California a lot of interference and buildings.Have to go out to the desert to try to fly it further. So the Pro should go out better range.

The 4 states it will go 3 miles

About 3.1 miles for range. Beware though; the DJI Go app is notorious for closing down during flight. If your drone is out of your field of vision and your app closes, you'll have a very hard time flying your drone back without knowing where it is.

All of the Phantom 4's have the same range, and it will depend on the altitude and interference present. I have had mine out 2,500 feet at 100' without issue.

Is very similar maybe no the same megapixels but I think is very good video quality and no to much difference on the 4 pro

They say its range is 5k or 3.1miles. I've flown it over 1 mile and it was still very responsive, although very hard to see. FAA says it must be in your line of vision at all times, that makes sense.

About 3 mile radius. It will fly as far as I can see usually.

Hello avjim. The Phantom 4 has a transmission range of 3.1 miles (5km). The Phantom 4 Pro has a transmission range of 4.3 miles (7km). Thanks.

I went 7.2 km and 120 meter high from my home to the Everglades, then I return home without any problem. Just make sure the Battery is full charged and never forget to have at least 50% battery to return home.

The wireless range is 16368 feet.
