I would say yes. As long as the bottom of he camera can be screwed into like on a tripod. Then you balance the camera on the gimbal and auto tune. There is no software that interferes with your camera. This will take any camera.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not. I use the Canon M50 with the kit lens 15 to 45mm and the gimble handles it with no problem. Just check out the compatibility chart first to see the different lenses you think you might be using with your camera. Remember to keep the the weight under 2lbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use the Ronnin SC with my a6300 without any problems. It should be compatible with the a6000 without issues. It physically is strong enough to handle my camera with my battery grip with my 18-105mm lens without a problem (though balancing this setup is tricky due to the high foward weight distribution). The electronic control aspects have worked flawlessly as well. I have not yet tested the focus wheel with the power zoom 18-105mm lens yet because I ordered the wheel separately and have not yet recieved it (actually was using the 18-135mm Sony lens, which functioned, but I decided I wanted to be able to change and pull zoom without rebalencing, so I recently purchased the PZ 18-105 lens and control wheel. The lens was in stock, the wheel had to be shipped). I will soon be getting an external monitor as when shooting 4k video on the a6300 the screen dims, making it nearly useless for outside shooting. I have used my phone with Edge app as an external monitor mounted to a crossbar (another recent purchase) but the latency is bad and it is still not bright enough for mid day shooting. Shooting in 1080p may reduce this problem as the back screen on the camera shouldn't dim. I don't think your a6000 shoots 4k anyway, but thought I would bring it up in case you ever consider upgrading. Then it would be best to skip the a6300 and a6500 because of this problem. The a6400 and a6600 don't have this issue. So far I am quite happy with the gimbal - only one caveat - it seems to lead to the desire to continue buying more gear.
