Q: QuestionI like the real time GPS tracking for security purposes. However I have ZERO interest in remote start (also for security purposes). Can I use this device without remote start being enabled? Am I considering the right product?

• A:Answer Yes, u can install drone x1 max GPS yurself without remote start as stand alone prod. Ask dealer for the special ribbon connector, plugs directly into OBD slot under dash.

Q: QuestionI currently have a new Ford Mustang 6 speed manual transmission so I know that remote start is not an option for me. However, I would like to add additional security on top of my factory alarm to add shock, tilt, glass break, and GPS. Will this work?

• A:Answer Actually any Compustar autostart system will work with manual transmission vehicles. Since you're looking for added security as well you would want to get one of their Alarm/Autostart systems. Here is the link to their webpage: https://www.compustar.com/systems/remote-start-security. Their older systems such as the AS6000 or AS7000 will work as well, and you can add the Dronemobile units to them for coverage and control from anywhere via smartphone, tablet or pc.

• A:Answer The Drone X1 max is an add on accessory for Compustar security and/or remote start systems. If you currently have a Compustar system installed then you can add the Drone to it. If not you can have a system and Drone installed all at once.

Q: QuestionIf I purchase thus do I also need to purchase a remote starter. Is this device just to enhance the remote starter on your vehicle. Or is is all in one.

• A:Answer This is used as a add on to be able to start the car via your Cell Phone App. So basically if you want to use your Smart Phone to start your car you need this Drone device. It comes with monthly subscription of $5 I believe per month. I have it in my Audi and it works great. You can get Compu Com remote start. Make sure Drone is compatible with the Remote start you are buying. Thanks

Q: QuestionCan I set the car from my phone so that the engine will not start without my disabling the system? Example being that I want to make sure someone does not drive the car when I do not want them to even if they have a key.
