“Can the remote be used at the same time as the microphone on this TV? We have another rolling TV but cannot use our microphone on zoom calls if we have the remote plugged into the USB. Also, will this TV charge and not have to be plugged in at all times?”

Hi Mary, The remote control is connected through Bluetooth. If the mic is also connected through Bluetooth, the two devices can't be used at the same time. If unplugged,DG3200RTV with battery can be used continuously for 4-5 hours.
