QuestionIs the adapter/converter good for electronics..IPad, phones, etc. or will it fry the electronics?One of the reviews stated the product fried his electronics and was only good for hair dryer, etc. He stated a voltage transformer would be required for small electronics. We are traveling to Japan. Please respond ASAP.! Thank you!

- Answer I used it in Ireland for my cell phone, iPad and camera. Just use it on low and it should be fine. The current in Ireland is 230 and I used it on low, which converts to 120 and my electronics were fine.

Questiondynex 1875w converter - does it harm the home circuit lines?I would like to know if the adapter can harm other appliances connected to the home circuit line such as: motors, air condition, refrigerator and so on. - Answer The DX-TCADPT will not harm other components connected to your homes wiring. Keep in mind the DX-TCADPT is only intended for use with one device at a time and when using the convertor for high watt devices it should only be used for 10 mins at a time.

- Answer No, this adapter/converter cannot support a power strip being connected to it. It is only designed to function with one device at a time.

- Answer Yes, this device will adapt to the plug types used in Vietnam. If your device uses 25 watts or less you can use the converter on the low wattage setting for long periods of time. If your device uses between 26 watts and 1875 watts then you can use it on the high wattage mode for short periods of time, roughly ten minutes. If your device uses more than 1875 watts you cannot safely use this adapter/converter.

- Answer This converter/ adapter should work with an air pump. If the air pump uses less than 25 watts, you can use this converter/adapter on the low wattage setting for long periods of time. If the air pump uses more than 25 watts but less than 1875, you can use it with the high wattage setting for 15 minute increments. If the air pump uses more than 1875 watts (not likely) than this adapter/converter cannot be used.

- Answer No, this adapter/converter is to be used to adapt 110V devices to 220V outlets. If your lamp is dual voltage capable, you may be able to find an adapter to adapt the plug type to the US style. If your lamp requires 220V you will not be able to use it as no converter will be able to double the voltage.

- Answer Yes, this will work with a 450W device. The converter/adapter must be set to the "High" setting when using it with anything over 25 Watts. Also when on the "High" setting, the usage needs to be limited to 10 minutes.
