Yes, this device will adapt to the plug types used in Vietnam. If your device uses 25 watts or less you can use the converter on the low wattage setting for long periods of time. If your device uses between 26 watts and 1875 watts then you can use it on the high wattage mode for short periods of time, roughly ten minutes. If your device uses more than 1875 watts you cannot safely use this adapter/converter.
