“Are these standard size and will they fit designer wall plates?”

These are standard size square outlets and will fit standard plates with a square opening. FYI, they do come with their own cover plates.

They are configured in a Decora format - rectangular like a GFCI receptacle.

Yes they are standard size and fit designer plates. We installed them with the clip-on plates that don’t have screws.

They came with a plate. Yes, standard size, a little deep perhaps due to the electronic components inside.

No, must use cover plate that comes with device.
