I understand how important this is for you and now, after taking the time to research I was able to confirm that the energy splits to 1.2A and 1.2A when both outlets are in use for a total of 2.4A.
So to those who said it is shared or 1.2A if both ports are used, yayy. To the others, please be more careful not to share incorrect info.
