Yes, it does. You have to turn off the current device before turning on the next one to use. Doing it this way tells the switch which HDMI feed to switch to. I do this between my blueray player and AppleTV with no problem.

Please try again later.When you have your TV on and the cable box on and then you decide to watch the Blu-Ray player instead and turn it on it switches to that HDMI connection automatically, but not back to the previous when you Turn the player off, you have to press the switch yourself. But I am satisfied with it just working for me whether I have to press the switch my self or not, it works good enough for me.
