“I have an HDMI cable that comes out of my tv. It is mounted to the wall and you can't get behind it. I wanted to know if the HDMI cable can be plugged into this device and then plug in my ROKU which is an HDMI connector.”

Yes. You could also use a $4 HDMI coupler to do the same thing if you only want to connect the Roku device.

I'm almost certain that all Roku have an HDMI port as far as I know. So if you have an HDMI cable coming out of the back of your television it should have no problem plugging into a Roku. I hope that helped !
