QuestionEPS12V connector questionMy DX-400WPS has an 8 pin EPS12V connector. My motherboard only has 4 pin ATX12V connector. Is my 8 pin a 4 pin X2 configuration? I bought the power supply a year agoand the user guide does not list the connectors.

- Answer This product was installed in a HP Pavilion p6110y PC tower desk top. If yours is also a tower desk top, maybe so. They showed me on the shelf only a chioce of 400 watt or 500 watt power supply by Dynex and said the 400 watt was more than enough for my PC.

QuestionIt doesn't seem to power CPUI have HP pavilion Slimline s3700y. The PSU powers the drive and cd but doesn't seem to power the cpu. Any ideas? I used the cable bridge from the previous psu because of the size difference.

- Answer You will need to connect the power cable for the CPU (4-6pin connector). There are two connections to the motherboard, 1) the huge brick that is the main power for the motherboard, and 2) the CPU power cable that is a four to six pins connector. This connector should be located close to the processor.
