A:AnswerI don't think so. HDMI and DiaplayPort are two different kinds of inputs for video but both are different from USB. I use the DisplayPort adapter to connect a laptop with a DisplayPort video output to a monitor with an HDMI input. I don't know if this works at all for audio.
A:AnswerYes it can, That's how I got my computer system set up I've got a display port going to an HDMI cable going to one monitor and I got a DisplayPort going to an HDMI going to another monitor both off the same video card or GPU card. On my other computer I've got the same setup except I've got a HDMI going to an HDMI monitor and then I got the same trip light with the DisplayPort going to an HDMI cable setup going to the same GPU card.
A:AnswerNo, that will not work. There are different kinds of USB ports and different connections available on monitors, as well as different adapters that will permit some laptops to output to some monitors. Everything needs to match up. There are many factors affecting actual performance. You might start with Samsung tech support. They may possibly give you the optimal solution for your needs.
A:AnswerI believe it should but I'm not tech savy. We used this adapter to connect an hp laptop to a tv (using the display port on laptop) to have dual monitors.
