“Why won't this charge my Galaxy s5? I plugged the charger into the phone, using the manufacture's cord USB 3.0 that came with my galaxy s5. It will charge for about a total of 30 seconds and then it shuts off. it works fine with my Samsung camera and my Iphone. What is the issue? Oh yeah, and this is brand new. I have only used it once.”

• Check your Samsung phone on the required mAh the internal battery requires and compare with this devices mAh to see if this device has enough juice to charge. Similar to your vehicles stock battery versus a replacement automotive battery.

• I had the same problem with my S6. I found out that if I used 2.4 amp port, it worked just fine. Before doing that though, I would call your mobile provider and see if 2.4 amps is too much for the phone.
