“Soundbar and optical cable issue This sound bar doesn't work with optical cable, Xfiniity cable box and Samsung 65js8500 combination. Is there any way to make to work. It does work with Aux cable but sound is not as good as optical cable(optical cable with roku, dvd player are working).”

Make sure that you are getting the optical cable securely connected to the soundbar and source. Press the source button on the soundbar to cycle through the 3 different source options until you hear sound. If you continue to not get sound, try a different or known working optical cable. If you continue to have issues, please take the soundbar and receipt into Best Buy, to the Geek Squad counter for warranty evaluation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the only way that the Dynex will work and only work with , is the USB contection. you see in order to fully captialize that pertinlical soundbar, only the hdmi will work
