How far does this sit away from the wall null

The plate that attaches to the TV is about 2" from the wall. How far the back of your TV is depends on your TV. In my case, I had to use spacers to get the correct bolt placement, so the back of my 32" Toshiba Fire TV is 2 1/2" at the lower end and 4" at the upper end away from the wall. The FRONT of my TV is 6" from the wall at the bottom and 7 1/2" from the wall at the top. Again, what TV you have makes a difference but the mounting plate is about 2" away (enough room for cords to be attached).
