A:AnswerLOL. I think it is called Smart Advertiser. Gopro packaged it because of the model number on back of the package is different then newer one. Sometimes you can find newer version parts in an older packages. But, to be honest some part does not work well with newer version. However I will purchase it myself if I can find an alternative way to use it on any gopro hero cam. Im sure there is possible ways to do things with special parts like hardware at Lowes or Home Depot. Since this is clearance item, it is best to grab one or 2 if you own a gopro camera. This item will be discontinue. While gopro stock price maybe plunge, we don't know what's in the future for gopro. All of gopro line have different series from Hero to Hero 5. What is the next gopro going to be? It is time to stock up while you can get the best price in town or online. This apply to those enjoy gopro action camera. Remember when you can no longer use them for yourself, sell them or trade for another parts you need from friend, family, gopro fans who owns one.
A:AnswerThe mounts attach right to the Hero Session. You can buy a case and the mounts will still attach but you don't have to. They're compatible with all the different cameras
