“Do you have to pick up cords before this runs or does it know to not get caught up in cords?? I know others like the roomba cords and such must be picked up.”

The 360 Eye robot has been designed to safely navigate of most power cables but we would always advise to tuck away carpet fringes, cables and generally clear the floor area to ensure maximum cleaning performance.
