While we don't have a set square footage, the machine does have an airflow of 84.5 gallons/sec, so it's perfect as a personal desk fan in the office (or at a desk) or an average bedroom. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t use the oscillator, but just keep it pointed steadily on me as I sleep - from about 5 feet away. Since you ask, as a test, I turned on the oscillator to see what I could feel. To be clear, the fan is at about the level of my shoulders as I sleep, but on the far side of the bed from where I am. With the power turned to 10 I could feel a bit of a breeze the full length of the bed and past the footboard. Bear in mind that my room is a bit crowded so that airflow my be obstructed a bit (talk about an understatement!) In short, I think the coverage is more the size of an average bed than an average bedroom. In fairness, they do call it a Desk Fan not a Room Fan, so I think that does indicate a little less power. If I might suggest - for many years I was in love with Vornado fans, and only switched away from them because they were impossible to clean. If they’ve changed their design to be able to remove that front piece so you can clean the fan blades, you might want to check them out. The certainly have the power and their prices can’t be beat! Good luck!
