• Hello Scul, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Animal upright machine will feature the strongest suction among our upright machines - 270 air watts, as well as a self-adjusting cleaner head. You may find the machine hard to push on your thicker carpeting. For thick/plush carpets, we would recommend one of our cord-free machines that features adjustable suction.
