My wife has two long hair cats that never seem to stop shedding. After my last vacuum gave out because of that fact, a month or so went by before I could get this vacuum. Some parts of my carpet got pretty bad with cat hair, but the Dyson picked it up like it was nothing. I expect it will work as well with dog hair.
