Hi Sheila, this is Kelly with Dyson. You should be able to use the same articulating hard floor tool on your CY23, however it would need an adaptor to attach to your newer machine. If you cannot find the adaptor at a local retailer, we do carry this on the Dyson website. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
