“Are there any Dyson cordless vacs with removable batteries that do not have to attach to the wall to recharge? What is the life expectancy of the battery? Can the battery be replaced without buying a new vac?”

It seems that Dyson Is Playing with words when ask about the replacement Battery, I Understand that the Battery can be replaced, However, it is a screw in battery that is not meant to be switched out in case you are half way cleaning. That it to me extremely disappointing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As a dyson owner , I can categorically state , stay away from dyson vacuums, they are junk, very cheaply made plastic. Batteries tend to last less that a year and dyson would be happy to sell you one ( they aint cheap). Dyson also cannot supply batteries ( under warranty ) waiting 3 months so far. So I own a very expensive vacuum thas about to be smashed to a pulp. They ARE NOT better than any other vacuum.

However, we do not recommend removing the battery unless absolutely necessary. The Dyson Cordless include a 2-year warranty when purchased new from Dyson or an authorized retailer.
