Dyson's representative, Vince, is right but he did not give a more detailed answer. I just received three Dyson DC44 Origin purchased from Best Buy during the Thanksgiving promotion. The only accessory the Origin model did not include is the one for cleaning animals. I include a picture for an open-boxed DC44 Origin (those are gifts for others so I won't fully unpack the box) and another picture I took for DC44 Animal half a year ago (I highlight the animal-cleaning accessory the Origin model does not include). The Dyson DC44 Origin is still a great deal if there is any promotion from Best Buy in the future because I personally haven't used the animal kit in the past.

This vacuum also has dual power mode, a docking station and a mini motorized tool with increased power for tough tasks. The DC44 vacuums features are it has anti static carbon fiber filaments and stiff nylon bristles a Dyson digital motor and a washable air filter.

I purchased this based on the models and specifications on dysons website, where you see the only DC44 model is the animal. I have no idea what an Origin is, as Dyson doesnt sell one. I'll probably be returning whatever this is.
