About 15 minutes, a couple minutes longer if you stop in between uses. My husband continues to hold the handle down which uses up the battery power even when he's walking from one room to another. Try not to do this, instead only hold the handle down when actually vacuuming! Hope this was helpful!

Removing the power floor tools will extend the run time of this unit slightly. We will be happy to provide additional details for the DC44 via email at [email protected]. Best wishes, Vince
