- Answer It’s perfect for rugs but depends how heavy and rough your rug is. For example my rug is heavy and rough so the carpet never gets stuck do to the vacuums suction. And the vacuum, for this model, has two interchangeable brush heads. One made for wooden floors and carpets and one made to vacuum carpet to perfection, by creating an incredibly stronger suction.

QuestionI see several reviews that have been posted complaining about the wheel(s) breaking off of the carpet cleaning head under normal use. Has Dyson done anything to correct this issue on newer models? How do I know i wont also have this issue if I buy this?

- Answer I bought this model in October 2025, completely brand new, fresh off the warehouse, the wheels still break down even after all these years. But only on the carpet/wood brush head with laser. Not on the carpet cleaning brush head.
