So I’m having the same issue almost—the new black filter that replaces the purple and green, doesn’t fit around the green filter, so essentially, the computer is reading that it’s missing a filter. After I hit the sleep/reset button, the purple filter indicator is good to go, but shows causation where the green one used to be. Is there a replacement for the green one now?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just have to hold down the night mode button for 5 seconds. The unit is basically on a timer and you need to reset the timer and "tell the unit" that you replaced the filter. It doesn't "know" you took this action if that makes sense. After you replace the hardware filter you can reset the software to know you replaced it by holding down the night mode button for 5 seconds. You will see a countdown on the unit itself and once it counts down your unit will display a new filter and countdown until your next replacement is necessary. You have to do this anytime you replace your filter on any Dyson unit and it's also standard procedure for other electronic devices like your water filter on your fridge for example.
