Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson HP04 Pure Hot + Cool can purify the air in any size room. We test our purifiers in a room of 291 square feet and take measurements to ensure the whole room has reached a clean level before our Auto mode stops the machine running. The larger the room, and the more windows/doors you have, will affect the length of time that it takes to fully purify the air. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
