“Can fan mode stay on ALL YHE TIME with heat kicking on when too cold and off when to hot? Does it make sound when heat turns on or off? Does it have rechargeable battery? I want it to plug in to use electricity but have a battery if the power goes out.”

Yes the fan can stay on all the time with the heat only turning on when the room drops below the selected temperature. The heat does not make a noticeable noise when it comes on. It does not have a rechargeable battery.

Once your room reaches that temperature, the machine will stay on, so it's still purifying the air, but you won't feel heated air coming from the loop. There is no noise to indicate when the heat is active. This machine is also a plug-in unit, it does not feature a battery, for use if the power should go out.
