A:AnswerHi there, this is Tia from Dyson. For the best performance, it's recommended to plug the HP04 purifier directly into a wall outlet, and not a power strip, extension cord or separate surge protector.
Thanks for your interest in Dyson technology!
Best wishes,
Tia

A:AnswerThe carpet works just fine. I however tend to set mine up on top of a small stool or little table to elevate and cool My bed when sleeping I like the added height it makes it much more enjoyable and get the most out of it.
A:AnswerThis Dyson is very quiet and super powerful at removing smells quickly. It’s a great investment especially if you have asthma, allergies or vocal cord issues!
A:AnswerHello Marc,
This is Miella from Dyson. The Dyson HP04 Pure Hot+Cool purifier can work in any sized room. The time it takes to bring the machine to the target heat temperature depends on environmental factors such as ventilation, current temperature, layout, etc.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerThe App download works very well. It gives you a depiction of the remote but I didn't find a way to increase the temperature. I would strongly recommend the App. I used the Apple store and I know it is also available on Google for android phones
A:AnswerHello plasticdoc,

A:AnswerHello Muran, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed.
However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty.

A:AnswerHello RN, this is Kelly with Dyson. Cost can certainly vary according to the standard unit price by market. That said, I can confirm Dyson heater fans use up to 1500 watts when used in the heating mode. This will vary based on the airflow setting, as well as the features that are being run.

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The higher airflow speed you are using on your HP04, the more air is getting drawn in through the bottom of your machine, purified, and expelled into your room through the loop aperture. It will allow the room's air quality to reach its target at a faster rate.

A:AnswerMost certainly does and definitely kicks out some serious heat. I live in Florida so I tend to keep on cool more often than not. However the few occasions I’ve turned on the heater I’ve been nice and warm and toasty. Glad that I purchased the combo versus the cooling components standalone. The app is awesome as well it’s cool to see the chart of the weeks air quality.
