Q: Questionwill my existing accessories fit this new unit? I thought it was a bad battery in my V10 so I bought a new battery and a charger both from Dyson and the unit will not charge past the first bar and there was a clicking noise coming from the circuit board.
Asked by Shawn.
- A:Answer Hello Shawn, this is Kelly with Dyson. Any non-motorized tools from your V10 would attach still to the Outsize. Anything motorized will not work or be compatible. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: QuestionWill this work with 220 voltage?
Asked by RJ.
- A:Answer Hello RJ, this is Kelly with Dyson. A few of our machines use dual voltage transformers making them compatible across a range of voltages. This is why the chargers on the cordless state they will work on 110-240 voltage. However, it's still advisable not to use outside the country of purchase. One of the reasons for advising against the use of machine outside of the country that they are sold in is that the machines are tested and certified to meet that countries regulations and requirements. For example a US machine is tested and certified to UL, ETL and FCC regulations to ensure that it is fit for retail. In the UK this would be BEAB, BS, IEC and CE, Canada CSA and so on. Each country has its own rules and regulations. We do not guarantee that a machine used outside of the country it is sold in meets all of the requirements of the second country. Plus, per the owner's manual it explains not to use internationally to avoid impact to the warranty, as we are unable to ship internationally and each region has very specific conditions. Q: QuestionIs the Dyson Outsize - Nickel a V11? Is there a Dyson Outsize V15? If so, what is the difference?
Asked by Jackie.
- A:Answer Hi Jackie, this is David with Dyson. Dyson Outsize vacuum cleaners are part of the Dyson V11™ line of machines. While an Outsize model with a laser attachment does exist, it would not be part of the Dyson V15 line of machines, and would not offer the same features as our V15 line. Dyson V15 Detect™ machines will be unique in the display that they offer and the information they provide, while Dyson V11™ machines will only display run time. Q: QuestionMy rug beater attachment stopped working The small beater works but the large high torque one stopped working not even plugged directly into man suction unit. Cleaned it no hair or clogs. Is there a reset button somewhere ?
Asked by Jnvaz.
- A:Answer HI there, this is Tia from Dyson. Sorry to hear of the troubles with your Outsize cordless vacuum. We recommend removing the High Torque cleaner head from the machine, turn it over and undo the fastener. Locate the end cap and using a coin, turn it anticlockwise a quarter of the way, and remove the brushbar. Be sure to clear away any hair or fibers, and check the neck of the cleaner head (where the cleaner head connects to the wand) for any blockages or build-up of dust and debris. Our support team is always at the ready, should you need us. If you would prefer Dyson troubleshooting assistance, please don't hesitate to reach our support team at questions.us@dyson.com.
