“Can you turn off the beater bar brush for cleaning hardwood floors?”

• The brush cannot be turned off on the machine. We do have a soft cleaner head that is safe and gentle for hardwood. Its not included with this machine, can be purchased to use with this machine if needed.

• No, not entirely. If you are using it in the auto mode, it will adjust to a lower speed. I use it on hardwood and haven't had any issues with damage.
