“Does this have a pre-filter of some kind before the HEPA filter? Or will my pet's hair quickly clog the HEPA filter and require it to be replaced often? A pre-filter could either be cleanable or be less expensive to replace than the HEPA filters.”

Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson TP02 Pure Cool Link tower purifier fan removes a range of contaminants from the air. It purifies to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns from the home. It also removes pollen, pet dander and odors such as cigarette smoke and cooking smells, with the included HEPA filter. It won't trap hair from your pets. The life on our filters is 4382 hours, so if you were to run your machine 24 hours a day, the filter would last about six months.
