No it doesn't get hot at all

Hi there,

This is Dan with Dyson. Although the Pure Hot + Cool Link has lower surface temperatures than some other heaters, and there are no visible heating elements that need to be kept behind a safety grill, the machine is hot when in use. It may be beneficial to place this item in an area that is out of reach given the circumstances.
