The difference is the Link/WiFi feature. The Link feature is the ability to use the app from your phone to monitor the machine and also a remote control that can be accessed from anywhere. The original HP01 did not have the Link/WiFi feature and only the included remote control could be used. Hope this helps! The product you are looking at on the Best Buy page is the HP02. Wifi/Link Enabled Hot/Cool Air Purifier.

hp02 has wifi function. hp01 does not.
