“Does the Dyson V11 Outsize battery work on the V11 Origin model? Both have the removable battery but I wasn’t sure if the batteries were the exact same. The Dyson website has no information on the Origin model but has the Outsize battery available to buy.”

The Dyson V11 Origin battery is not installed with screws. The battery clicks in and out. Since the Dyson rep can’t answer this question, does anyone else know if the Dyson V11 Outsize battery will fit the Dyson V11 Origin? I’m looking to buy a second battery as a backup and would like to know which battery to buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 Outsize is a newer model than the Torque Drive, Animal or Origin. There IS a V11 Outsize Origin model; however. The batteries on the Outsize are the snap-in variety, while the older model V11's have the traditional screw-in battery. The snap-in battery for the Outsize is not compatible with the other V11 machines. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
