• There is no trigger lock. But, the unit is almost fun to use so holding the trigger while using has not been any sort of problem.

• You have to hold the trigger at all times, no lock mechanism.

• Hello Craig, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V11 Origin, like all other Dyson cord-free machines does feature a run-time enhancing trigger. The trigger does need to be held down to maintain power to the machine. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
