• Hello Mare, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 Outside machine, with the wand and floor tool included, is 7.8 pounds. The floor tool and wand should take about 1.5 pounds of weight off. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• I believe you get use to it but it is heavier than the torque models. I wanted the option for longer run time but this model was too heavy and bulk for doing stairs and vehicles but not a problem if your just doing floors. If you are open to a small bin I would suggest the Dyson V11 Origin, it has the option to use additional batteries. It’s only sold on Best Buy as of right now.

• It feels heavy. I'm a big guy, and the V11 simply feel heavy to me.

• This depends on a person's size, strength, and age, but my wife is 35, 5"10' and thin and loves it. I do too!

• Surprisingly no looking at it it looks like a pretty heavy piece of machinery but it's so light I'm little bitty and I can push it around very easily
