“Does this Model have a button you select to suction or do you have to hold down the button continuously to be able to suction ?”

• Hello CMN, this is Kelly with Dyson. Like all our other cord-free machines, the new V11 Outsize Cordless Vacuum does feature our run-time enhancing trigger. The trigger does need to be engaged for the machine to run. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• You have to hold down the button which if you've never used it seems like a huge inconvenience but it's really not they do it that way to save power so it's never just sitting on wasting the battery

• You need to hold the button down continuously. I thought this would be tiresome but honestly it isn't and it preserves battery life.

• You have to hold the button just like all the other Dyson's. But honestly I don't have an issue with that. It actually helps save battery when your moving something you can just release your finger.
