Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you have hard wood flooring, you may wish to check with your manufacturer to see what they recommend in terms of using a spinning brush bar. The V11 Outsize model does feature a spinning brush bar which cannot be turned off. The soft roller head we carry for the V10 cord-free machines can attach to the V11 machines, and is available to be purchased separately. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
